March in Białystok – main message
On Sunday, November 23rd, a march organized by the Confederation of the Polish Crown under the motto "Poland Behind the room." The demonstration was attended by about 300 people who carried banners with slogans such as "We speak not instigators of war", "Not for Eurokołchoz" and "PolEXIT".
The main aim of the result was to express opposition to Poland's involvement in the Ukrainian-Russian conflict and criticism of European Union policy. Participants chanted a controversial slogan "He who does not jump, the one behind the war – hop, hop, hop," which became a symbol of this event. The march departed from St. Roch's church and crossed the main street of the city towards Kościuszko Square.
Controversial Password Roots
The slogan "He who does not jump has a long history in the Polish public space and usually served to polarize society. In recent decades, it has appeared in different variants during protests and demonstrations. In 2020, during a demonstration against abortion ban, "Who does not jump, the one behind PiS" was chanted. A similar slogan "Who does not jump, the one behind Tusk" appeared on the March of Independence in 2024.
Braun's scandal series

Grzegorz Braun has been controversial with his actions for years. In June 2025 he received no admission to the Sejm after the destruction of LGBT exhibition boards. The prohibition has been issued on the basis of the Rules of Procedure, which provides that persons who are in violation of the dignity of Parliament may be prevented from entering its territory.
Speaker of the Sejm Vladimir Czarzasty in November 2025 confirmed that he maintained this decision. He said: "You can't just treat people like that just because Braun thinks they're different from him."
In December, an indictment against Braun about the use of a fire extinguisher to extinguish Khanuk candles in the Sejm in December 2023, as well as other controversial actions, was also brought to court. The MEP was also punished by the European Parliament for discriminating statements against LGBTQI people and disrupting a minute of silence devoted to Holocaust victims.
Foreign policy at the heart of the dispute
The slogan "He who does not jump, the one behind war" fits into Braun's broader political strategy, which consistently opposes Poland's support of Ukraine. In his presidential campaign, he declared: "I will not give Poland's war on Ukraine, I will not let go! Military Polish is needed here, within these limits!".
In October 2024, in the European Parliament, Braun shouted "Thieves, thieves" when voting on the transfer of financial support to Ukraine of EUR 45 billion from frozen Russian assets. The overwhelming majority of MEPs – 516 votes – spoke with the help of Ukraine.
Braun's cooperation with Marek Woch, leader of the "No Party Local Government", resulted in the so-called Senate Pact, which aims to join forces of both groups in the Senate elections in 2027. This coalition is a response to attempts to bring the Confederate closer to the Law and Justice.
Social reactions
Braun's actions provoke extreme reactions – from the full support of his supporters, who see him as a defender of Polish sovereignty, to a decisive criticism that accuses him of populism and provocation. The video with the slogan "Who does not jump, the one behind the war" collected over 1650 likes on Instagram and generated dozens of comments.
