Burger Drwala returns sooner than usual
Lovers of seasonal novelties can blur their hands – McDonald’s officially announced the date of launch of the hit sandwich. Burger Drwala will appear in the new, changed McDonald’s restaurant at 100 Hetmanska Street in Poznań on 13 November. This is the city that has been "the capital of Drwala" this year – a week before the official start in Poland.
Why Poznań?
McDonald’s has been celebrating the premiere of Drwal for several years, choosing different Polish cities. Poznań deserves its place – the restaurant has undergone expressive metamorphosis and already attracts sight with a new, colorful elevation. Previously, such a premiere took place in Wrocław, and now the capital of Wielkopolska takes over.
What distinguishes this year's edition of Burger Drwala?
Drwala Burger is a true winter classic. The characteristic sandwich combines beef chop, breaded cheese, crispy bacon, lettuce, roasted onion and velvety sauce – all enclosed in a bun with cheese and bacon sprinkles. In previous years there were variants with cocks, horseradish, cranberry or chicken. The official confirmation of this year's additions has yet to be confirmed, but emotions are already reaching out.
Drwala effect – annual record restaurant siege
Burger Drwala is a determinant of the early winter season at McDonald’s. When it comes to the menu – the movement in the premises increases by up to 20 percent, and social media breaks from the relationship with the "hunting on the Drwala". For comparison, the "Drowal effect" in 2024 was particularly visible in Warmian-Masurian, Lower Silesian and Łódź provinces.
When and where can you try Burger Woodjack?
For now, Burger Drwala will be available only in Poznań – from Wednesday 13 November in the restaurant on 100 Hetmanska Street. The rest of Poland will gain access to this legendary sandwich a week later, which is most likely from 19 November.
