Przemysław Babiarz and Marzena have been married for over a quarter of a century. The couple met in unusual circumstances – at a food fair where Marzena worked. As the journalist himself mentioned in interviews, he fell in love with her after his divorce and emphasized: "If she was ever missing, I would not look for any other." The spouses raised their daughter together, and their relationship was an example of deep love and mutual support. In recent times Babiarz has spoken repeatedly about his wife’s illness, though he did not reveal details, respecting family privacy. In the autumn of 2024, Marzena underwent surgery, and the journalist publicly asked for prayers during the pilgrimage to Jasna Góra.
