Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Kraków Provincial Police Headquarters, acting under the supervision of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Tarnów, detained a wanted man suspected of involvement in an organized criminal group running 'legend’ scams. The 33-year-old was hiding with his wife and 9-month-old child in a allotment garden area. During the intervention, officers seized narcotics in a garden shed, and due to the 'spartan’ conditions in which the infant was living, medical assistance was called to the scene – cocaine was found in the child’s body. Kraków police arrested a 33-year-old man wanted for fraud, who had been hiding with his wife and young son in allotments. During the police operation in the garden shed, in extremely poor living conditions, officers seized over 2 kg of narcotics, including cocaine, marijuana and mephedrone.
The parents were under the influence of cocaine and marijuana.
The infant was immediately taken to hospital.
Tests confirmed the presence of cocaine in the child’s body.
The couple were charged with exposing a person to loss of life and drug trafficking.

The boy’s father was already wanted for 'legend’ fraud, and he will now answer for complicity in drug trafficking and failure to care for a child. The mother has also been charged with serious offences, including exposing the child to a risk to its health.
