Jan Frycz, one of the most prominent Polish theatre, film and television actors, is dead. The National Theatre in Warsaw informed about the artist's death.

"We took with unspoken regret the news of the death of Jan Frycz, one of the most prominent Polish actors. The artist died on 15 August in a family home, surrounded by loved ones. Until the last moments he was active professionally".
The actor was 72 years old (born 15 May 1954 in Krakow).
Careers
He was associated with the National Theatre from 1982 to 1983 and again since 2006. He previously played at the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre and the Old Theatre in Krakow.
He won the most important acting awards and was among the most esteemed artists of his generation. He has performed in both ambitious theatres and popular film productions and series.
