Representation of Polish men in volleyball for the third time in history won the gold medal of the League of Nations. In the finals played on 2 August 2026 in Chinese Ningbo White and Red defeated the United States 3:2.
Final run
The match was a real rollercoaster. Poles won the first set 25:21, then lost two more (23:25 and 25:27). In the fourth party, they managed to level the match at 2:2 (25:23), and in the tie-break they probably defeated the Americans 15:10.
This is Poland's third victory in these games (previously they triumphed in 2023 and 2025). Nikola Grnia's team defended the title won a year ago.
The way to the final
In the final tournament, Poles played very confidently:
- in the quarterfinals they defeated Ukraine 3:1,
- in the semi-finals they broke up Slovenia 3:0.
Americans on their way to the finals eliminated Italy and Japan, among others.
Historical Success
The Polish men's volleyball once again confirmed the position of one of the best teams in the world. The 2026 League of Nations gold medal is another great success of the team led by the Serbian coach.
Bravo, gentlemen!
