Early Monday morning, in the southern part of Moscow, there was a bomb explosion in the car, resulting in the death of a high-ranking Russian army officer, Lieutenant General Fanil Sarwarov. The incident occurred in Jasienevska Street, Moscow, when General Sarwarov was on his way to work. According to a statement from the Russian Federation Investigation Committee, the bomb was planted under the vehicle and the explosion was strong enough to cause the immediate death of 56-year-old military. The General served as Head of Operations Training Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia and participated in military operations in Ukraine.
