On 1 December 2025, about 6:30 a.m., on the A2 motorway between Scilla and Bagnara in Reggio Calabria Province, Italy, there was a brazen robbery on an armored van carrying money. A group of armed bandits, consisting of at least 10 people, blocked the road, torching cars and spreading nails, preventing the victim from escaping.
