Seven dogs in China had an adventure like from a movie. Stolen and held to slaughter, they escaped from the truck. They've gone 17 km, stuck together.
Amazing escape in Jilin
In northeastern China, in Jilin Province, seven rural dogs from one village were in trouble. The thieves took them from three different homes and loaded them into a truck driving to a dog meat store.
Dogs jumped out of the cage while driving on Changshuang Highway. The film of their hike on the highway became a viral on YouTube and social media.
Composition of the brave package
Seven dogs that were stolen from their owners became an Internet hit after they escaped the kidnappers and reached home
This group, led by the corgi, is believed to have crossed approximately 17 km together, traversing highways and fields
The group formed a colorful mix of races. Here they are:
- Corgi – the leader of the herd, always at the front.
- German Shepherd – injured, but protected by the rest.
- Golden retriever and labradors – strong support.
- Pekings – the smallest but fearless.
Corgi drove like a captain, turning around to check on her comrades. It's like a pack of wolves in the urban jungle.
Two days of heroic travel
Dogs marched on the highway and fields for two days. They avoided cars rushing by, holding the side.
The Netizens followed them through recordings. Volunteers from rescue organizations used drones to track the herd on March 16.
By March 19, the dogs arrived close to home. Veterinary tests showed only minor injuries – a miracle!
Happy finale and lesson
The owners have recovered their pets in good health. They were relieved that the dogs had escaped the slaughterhouse.
