Adrian Szymaniak, a participant of the popular "Wedding at First Look" program, had to face a dramatic diagnosis – a Grade IV glioma. He and his wife Anita started a fund-raiser for expensive treatment.
Adrian's difficult fight against fatal illness

Adrian Szymaniak and Anita Szydło is one of the few couples who survived the love experiment of the television show and for years they formed a happy family. Unfortunately, their life recently turned Adrian's diagnosis upside down – Grade IV glioma, very aggressive brain tumor.
After two surgeries, the tumor still requires intensive treatment. Treatment should cost until PLN 3 million and includes specialist therapy in Germany which is not fully reimbursed by the NFZ.
Gathering: More Than Hope
The recently established collection is intended to cover treatment costs. Already on the first day of its duration, more than a million zlotys were collected. The social support is huge, and the internet users and viewers of the program send heartwarming comments and prayers.
Treatment costs
- Start of therapy: 240 thousand PLN
- Monthly costs: PLN 120 thousand
- Collection objective: PLN 3 million
Adrian lost his job before diagnosis, and Anita takes care of the children and organizing help. They are unable to bear such enormous medical costs alone.
How can we help?
The couple encourages support for this difficult stage of their lives by depositing and sharing collection information. In addition to the collection, there is also a charity gala and book premiere, from which income will support Adrian's treatment.
