A disturbing incident took place in Głogów – two assailants burst into a restaurant, and one of them was armed with a machete.

The incident occurred in the evening, while the restaurant was open to customers. According to preliminary information, two masked men forced their way inside. One of them had a machete, while the other held an object resembling a stick or baton. Customers and staff were taken by surprise and forced to flee in panic.

Witnesses stress that the perpetrators behaved very aggressively and appeared determined. The machete in the hands of one of the assailants caused panic among those present. According to accounts, the assailants:

- Fled the scene after a brief moment.
Fortunately, no one suffered serious physical injuries, although several people required assistance due to severe stress and shock.

Officers arrived at the scene very quickly. Witnesses were immediately questioned and surveillance footage was secured. The police said that intensive activities aimed at detaining the perpetrators are ongoing. Patrols in the city centre have been increased – such measures are meant to give residents a sense of security.
According to the latest information, police in Głogów have detained two 21-year-old men suspected of the brutal machete attack on the owner of the restaurant. Officers acted quickly, which led to the capture of the perpetrators. Further activities aimed at clarifying the details of the incident and the motives of the assailants are currently ongoing
