Ed Sheeran during his visit to Wrocław not only delighted fans with two concerts, but also surprised them by meeting Polish influencer Łatwogang. On the Wrocław Market Square, they filmed a joint ride on a tandem bicycle, which quickly became a hit on Polish internet.
Ed Sheeran and Łatwogang’s joint initiative takes over the internet
Łatwogang, a content creator known for viral challenges and controversial stunts, challenged Ed Sheeran to record a joint song.
During the conversation, the influencer proposed that Ed record one of his songs in Polish, on the condition that the challenge video gets one million likes. Ed Sheeran agreed to the deal, replying that it was a good number to take on. The video passed the required like threshold in just a dozen or so hours, which only confirmed how much interest this unusual collaboration has generated. The video has gathered over 1.2 million likes, meaning Ed Sheeran should soon present a Polish version of one of his songs.
Sheeran surprised Poles
Ed Sheeran additionally emphasized his connection to Poland, among other things by performing in a Śląsk Wrocław shirt, which won him even more sympathy from local fans.
During his concerts he has repeatedly stressed that he really likes our country and appreciates Polish audiences. Sheeran happily returns to Poland not only for concerts, but also for holidays.
Two concerts at Tarczyński Arena in Wrocław drew a combined crowd of around 110,000 fans.
