54-year-old Dariusz Ujma from Kobylnica (Słupsk, Pomeranian Voivodeship) left his home on Saturday, 19 July 2025, at around 3:15 p.m., wearing home clothes and slippers. He did not take his phone or documents. Since then, he has not contacted his family.
Rutkowski Cuts Short His Holiday to Help
Krzysztof Rutkowski interrupted his rest in Athens and on 27 July led a briefing in Słupsk for his office and Patriot24 TV. The detective stressed:
- the priority is finding Dariusz alive;
- posters with the image of the missing man have been put up at railway stations and oncology hospitals across the country;
- the office’s emergency number: 600 007 007.
A Psychological Breakdown?
Rutkowski revealed that Ujma may have feared a cancer diagnosis – a new, unconfirmed diagnosis could have triggered severe stress and prompted him to flee.
