Hope on the Vistula – the latest stage of the search
For over two years, there has been an unequal struggle between the parents of the missing Krzysztof Dymiński to find even the slightest trace of his son. 27 May 2023. The teenager disappeared without a trace, the morning trip to Warsaw was the beginning of a family tragedy. From the very beginning, not only close but also volunteers, divers, police search team and advanced technologies are involved in the search – drones, sonars, underwater cameras, and recently also dead dogs.
Dogs tracking on water: effectiveness and hope
The search was attended by dogs trained to detect human corpses in decay and remains – also underwater. For two days of July (21-22.07.2025) Daniel Dymiński and his dog care workers spent many hours on the Vistula River, carefully analyzing the indications of the quadrupeds. In one specific place, both dogs – working independently – located identical pointwhich in the coming days will be thoroughly checked.
What gives us the use of dead dogs?
These dogs are highly skilled "detectives" whose effectiveness is compared to the work of the best police laboratories. They can sense the signs of a human being. Even after many months missing, which gives hope to the missing families. Theirs. Work is invaluable especially on rivers where traditional methods fail.

Daniel Dymiński in social media emphasizes not only the integrity of his family, but also the enormous work and involvement of dog guides. It is thanks to them that it is possible to gradually eliminate further areas of exploration and focus activities in a specific place. ‘Any such dog and the guide is on the weight of gold" – notes with gratitude.
The search conducted by the family of Dymiński also gained a social dimension – Daniel, swimming through Wisla, often found bodies of other people, helping with these other families struggling with tragedy missing.
