Robert Lewandowski officially changed the club. Polish footballer signed with Chicago Fire and will play for Major League Soccer from the 2026 season.

After leaving FC Barcelona, a 37-year-old striker considered several offers, but eventually bet on an American project. The Chicago Fire deal is valid for two years with the option of extending for the third season. Lewandowski is expected to receive a net salary of EUR 10-15 million per year.
