This is one of the most touching moments of the past weeks in Polish football.
Maja – heroine of record charity action Oslagang "Diss for cancer" – she received a special award for her fight and commitment. The girl has fulfilled one of her greatest dreams and She led Robert Lewandowski to the field before the Polish team match.
Just before the team left for the Maja field, wearing a white-and-red shirt with number nine, she stood next to the captain of our staff. Lewandowski smiling greeted her warmly, and then together they went to the PGE National grassland.
Photographs of this moment quickly went around the whole Polish Internet. Maya did not hide emotion and joy. "It was the most beautiful day of my life," she later wrote on social media.

Maja has been the face of the "Diss cancer" action for many months, which has raised over 115 million PLN to fight cancer in children. Her determination, positive energy and authenticity were touched by hundreds of thousands of Poles, including Robert Lewandowski, who repeatedly supported the action.
For Mai, who herself struggled with the disease or is close to the oncological theme, meeting with the idol and being able to bring it to the field was a symbolic culmination of a multi-month fight.
