Tragedy in Egypt: Polish mother and child killed in bus rollover

A dramatic accident occurred in Egypt during a tourist excursion. A Polish mother and her child were killed.

The accident happened on 29 July 2025, near the town of Marsa Alam in southern Egypt. According to media reports and confirmation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, the victims are a Polish citizen and her child. Both were taking part in a optional bus tour, during which the vehicle overturned for reasons not yet known.

• The mother and child died on the spot, despite resuscitation being started quickly.
