According to Glovo data, the record-holder ordered a staggering 266 portions over the course of a year, leaving more than 13,000 zloty on the table. Warsaw outpaces the rest of the country by a mile, with over 583,000 kebabs delivered to the capital.
Kebab Conquers Poland – the Statistics Don't Lie
The kebab has long stopped being just a quick meal after a night out. It has become the number one item for deliveries, leaving pizza and burgers far behind. Over the past 12 months, Poles ordered more than 5 million portions through Glovo – as many as the population of Norway.
This is no accident. The kebab wins on price, portion size and the ability to customise. Rollo, box or classic in a bun – everyone finds something for themselves. Poles are increasingly experimenting with XXL, cheesy or ‘American’ versions.
Record-Holders with No Regrets
Poland’s biggest kebab fan is in a league of his own. Over the course of a year he placed an order 266 times, spending more than 13,000 zloty. That works out to roughly one kebab every 1-2 days and a considerable hole in the budget.
Even more shocking is a single order – almost 1,900 zloty for one delivery.

The pace of life, late returns from work and a wide range of eateries all play their part. The kebab has become not just food here, but a true after-dark lifestyle.
