Grand Theft Auto VI is set to go on sale on Thursday, November 19, 2026, which is 39 days away. This week Rockstar Games is revealing more elements of the game and related products, and interest among players in Poland is growing.
Release date unchanged
Rockstar Games named November 19, 2026 as the date in an official statement announcing the postponement. The game was previously due on May 26, 2026, and originally in 2025. In the statement the studio apologized for the further extension of the wait and explained that the extra time will allow the game to be polished. The PlayStation page still shows the same date.
Which platforms
The game will appear on PlayStation 5 (including PS5 Pro) and Xbox Series X/S. A PS4 version is not planned. Rockstar has not announced a PC release. According to Fandom, at Take-Two’s general shareholders meeting on September 17, the head of the company, Strauss Zelnick, only said that the PC platform is becoming increasingly important for the company, which is not an announcement of a specific version.
What Rockstar has shown in recent days
The studio’s official account on X is publishing promotional materials this week. On Thursday, October 8, Rockstar announced that GTA VI will feature the “biggest and broadest selection” of radio stations in the series’ history, from classic rock and hip-hop through metal, Latin and electronic music to talk radio and podcasts.
The same day, a clothing and merchandise collection inspired by the game went live in the Rockstar store. On Friday, October 9, the studio released two new singles from the album “Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album”: “Suzuki” by Fuerza Regida and “Don’t Chart” by Cardi B. The album can be pre-ordered on vinyl and CD.
What it means for players in Poland
There are five weeks and five days until release, so interest grows with each new announcement. Players from Poland should expect the game to arrive only on current-generation consoles, so PS4 owners and PC players will have to wait or upgrade their hardware. Prices in Polish stores and pre-order details are worth checking directly with retailers and on the PlayStation Store and Xbox pages, as Rockstar did not provide them in the quoted statements.
As of publication, there has been no news of a further delay. The studio usually announces any changes on its Newswire site and on its X account.
