Rockstar Games has officially announced the start of pre-orders for the long-awaited Grand Theft Auto VI. Pre-sales will open on June 25 on digital platforms (including the PlayStation Store and Xbox Microsoft Store) and at selected retail stores.
The game is scheduled for release on November 19 on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
Alongside the announcement, Rockstar published a short, 30-second video presenting the official cover art. The cover is dominated by the main protagonists, Lucia and Jason, along with other characters who will appear in the sequel. The background features the fictional state of Leonida (inspired by Florida), with characteristic elements such as flamingos and alligators. In the series’ typical pop-art style, the cover also shows fast cars, helicopters and motorcycles.
Fans are now eagerly waiting for a new gameplay trailer.
The latest trailer released, the second one, already has over 166 million views on YouTube.
As a reminder, GTA V from 2013 still remains the second best-selling game in history.
