Gothic's cult trilogy is on the console. Classics will soon hit PlayStation and Xbox consoles

Fans of one of the most legendary RPG series can already prepare wallets and calendars. Gothic's official account has just confirmed that the original trilogy in Classic versions will appear on consoles.

The release schedule is as follows:

  • Gothic Classic – July 28, 2026
  • Gothic II Complete Classic – September 29, 2026
  • Gothic III Classic – November 24, 2026

Each title will be available in the price 29,99 €.

It is the first official premiere of the original parts of Gothic on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S and Series X. Classic versions are refreshed editions of classics from 2001, 2002 and 2006 – no change in mechanics and feature, but optimized for new consoles and gameplay on the pad.

For many players it is a return to the roots of the series that once revolutionized the species of RPG. Gothic I, II with the addition of Raven Night and Gothic III will hit the digital shelves of PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store at several month intervals.

No information has yet been provided about the physical version or possible graphic improvements (e.g. higher resolutions or support for 60 fps). All we know for now is that these will be faithful classics in a new hardware installment.

If you grew up in the days of Khorynis, Jarkendar and Myrtana – write down these dates. The trilogy that shaped an entire generation of players will enter the big TV screens this fall.
