Conan Kaźmierski, the son of Dagmara Kaźmierska, known from the "Queen of Life" program, has just completed six-year medical studies at the Medical University of Wrocław. Instead of a classic apron for the final exam, he came in a full dressed Orthodox clergyman. What's next for a young doctor?
From celebrity to medical student
Many remember Conan as a boy growing up on the screen by his mother's side. But instead of following in the footsteps of show-business, he chose one of the most difficult directions in Poland. For six years he studied in Wrocław, combining science with life that fans could follow in social media.
"6 years of study. It was a beautiful time..." – he wrote on Facebook recently, publishing a photo with colleagues from the year.
Last Orthodox Exam
The biggest thrill was his approach to the final exam. According to tradition at Wroclaw University, students come to the last theoretical test of disguises. Conan chose the robes of an Orthodox clergyman – a slob, epitrachelion, and a grand cross. The video from that moment quickly went viral and entertained thousands of people.
It was not a joke of faith, but simply a creative way to highlight the end of a certain stage. Other colleagues appeared in costumes from movies or fairy tales – Conan just went one step further.
Specialization plans: Psychiatry or plastic surgery?
As long as many freshly baked doctors are immediately thrown into the ER on duty, Conan is thinking about further development. He's already told me that he's interested in everything. Psychiatric – interest in this direction was born in high school.
The second option he really likes is plastic surgery (commonly combined with aesthetic medicine). During hospital practices, he felt well in this area and collected positive opinions. As he himself spoke in older interviews, everything can still change, but these two paths are closest to his heart.
What's next?
The completion of medicine is only the beginning. Before Conan, residence, specialization and daily challenges of the doctor's profession. Many people appreciate the fact that despite the media background, he chose solid education and hard work.
