At least two people were killed and several dozen injured in a mass shooting that took place in the first week of classes at the Catholic school Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis, sources told ABC News.
On the morning of August 27, 2025, the local community experienced terrifying moments when an armed attack occurred during a school Mass at the Church and Catholic School of the Annunciation in Minneapolis.
More than 20 people were injured, and at least two were killed in the tragic shooting that occurred during the morning school Mass at the Annunciation Catholic Church and the adjoining school, located in the southeastern neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.
Among the injured, at least 14 people were shot, and four of them, in critical condition, were taken to nearby hospitals.
The suspect, a man dressed in black and armed with a rifle, remains at large, and there are concerns about a possible explosive device in the building.
