According to a report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022 to April 23, 2025, Russia has suffered massive losses in the ongoing conflict. In total, personnel losses amount to approximately 944,270 soldiers, while equipment losses include thousands of vehicles and weapons systems.
The largest losses were recorded in the category of vehicles and fuel tanks, with as many as 45,621 units destroyed. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 26,774 artillery systems, 22,307 armoured combat vehicles and 10,691 tanks.
In the latest reporting period, losses increased by 1,210 soldiers, 163 vehicles and fuel tanks, and 138 drones. The Air Force of Ukraine also reported success, shooting down 67 enemy unmanned aerial vehicles on April 23, 2025.
