According to the report of the Armed Forces General Staff of Ukraine, from 24 February 2022 to 23 April 2025 Russia suffered massive losses in the ongoing conflict. In total, personnel losses are approximately 944 270 soldiers, and equipment losses include thousands of vehicles and weapons systems.
The biggest losses were recorded in the category of vehicles and fuel tanks – as many as 45 621 units were destroyed. Additionally, Ukrainian armed forces eliminated 26,774 artillery systems, 22,307 armoured combat vehicles, and 10,691 tanks.
In the last reporting period, losses increased by 1210 soldiers, 163 fuel vehicles and tanks, and 138 drones. The success was also praised by the Ukraine Air Force, which shot down 67 hostile unmanneds on April 23, 2025.
