Mr Prada, whose real name is Terryon Ishmael Thomas, was initially sought on charges of causing serious property damage, resisting arrest and unauthorised use of a motor vehicle in connection with the death of 69-year-old William Nicholas Abraham.
However, on 2 October he was charged with second-degree murder.
Police said his therapist was “brutally” beaten to death, and his head and neck were covered in bruises.
The 20-year-old TikToker Terryon Thomas is currently in custody, awaiting extradition to Louisiana. He was initially charged with second-degree murder, but the charges were changed to first-degree murder – which automatically allows the prosecutor to seek the death penalty, especially since the victim was over 65 years old.
