From Tuesday, 10 November, users of the InPost Mobile app will be able to set up automatic redirection of courier parcels to a chosen Paczkomat parcel locker or PaczkoPunkt. The service is free of charge, but it comes with conditions.
InPost described the change in a notice about updated terms and conditions, which takes effect on 10 November 2026. It expands the existing Dynamic Parcel Redirection service. Until now, recipients had to order a redirection separately for each shipment.
How the service works
In the InPost Mobile app, the recipient selects a preferred Paczkomat or PaczkoPunkt. Automatic redirection covers courier parcels linked to their phone number. The selected location can be changed at any time, and permanent redirection can be turned off and back on. The terms state that the delivery address change feature is free of charge. The document is available on the InPost website.
The changes cover the Paczkomat 24/7 terms, the postal and courier services terms, and the terms of services within Allegro, including Allegro Smart. Details are described in the company’s announcement.
Conditions and exceptions
Redirection will not work in every case. According to the service rules:
- the selected Paczkomat or PaczkoPunkt must be located within the area of the same branch that was due to deliver the parcel, and no further than 10 km from the address on the sender’s label,
- the parcel must fit within the dimensions of a Paczkomat,
- the service does not cover SmartCourier and Paleta Standard shipments,
- redirection may be unavailable if the sender has disabled it, or where legal, technical or operational reasons stand in the way.
Simply enabling the feature therefore does not guarantee that every shipment will reach a locker.
How to enable it
Go to the redirection settings in InPost Mobile, select a pickup point, and confirm the change. The service starts working after confirmation in the app and by email. Parcels that are already in the InPost network when the feature is enabled may not be covered by the new instruction.
We covered the costs and limits in more detail in our article on the introduction of permanent redirection for courier parcels.
