The police Ford Mustang GT, who recently joined the Mazovia police fleet, was damaged in a collision. The car, which is the first Mustang in Poland confiscated from a drunk driver, crashed after only a few months of service.
The event occurred today on Thursday 9 July 2026 at around 12:30 p.m. on Radomska Street in Milejowice (Radomskie County).
What happened?
A police officer from Radom traffic was driving Mustang to intervene with privileged signals (light and sound). While overtaking other vehicles, the head of Volkswagen began to perform a left-turn maneuver on the property.
As a result of the collision:
- Police Mustang hit the fence of the property,
- Volkswagen drove into a ditch.
Thankfully. No one was injured.. The police were working there, and the shuttle was moving.
Mustang in Service since March
The famous police car was officially presented on March 17, 2026. He went to the Department of Road Traffic Police Headquarters in Radom as the first in Poland marked Ford Mustang GT confiscated from the driver who led him under the influence of alcohol.
The car quickly became one of the most recognizable units in the Mazovia Police and regularly appeared in photos and films on social media.
For now, it is not known whether the Mustang will continue to be used after repairs, or whether its service has come to an end after such a short time.
