There was a dramatic domestic brawl in Orzysz, which ended in police intervention and serious charges. A 35-year-old woman, under the influence of alcohol, attacked her husband, leaving traces of violence on his body. Now she has to leave her apartment, and she has a long sentence hanging over her head. What exactly happened, and why are such cases alarming?
Friday night of horror: Report and attack
The incident occurred on October 31, 2025, Friday night when a man from Orisha called the police asking for help. As he reported to the on-call officer of the pixie police, his 35-year-old wife was drunk and extremely aggressive. The woman not only started a brawl, but went to her actions – she called her husband, waved her hands, and finally started beating him with fists on her head and body. The victim suffered visible injuries: skin abrasion and multiple bruises, as confirmed by police.
Patrol from the Orish Police Station found a woman in a state of severe alcohol intoxication. She didn't respond to the officer's orders, which only made things worse. The police estimated that her behavior posed a real threat to her husband's life and health, so they decided to immediately detain a 35-year-old.
After sobering up: Charges and no remorse
After spending the night in custody when the woman sobered up, she heard formal charges. The prosecution accused her of psychological and physical abuse of her husband – a crime which is treated very seriously in Polish law, especially in the context of domestic violence. Despite evident evidence, a 35-year-old girl did not plead guilty, which did not affect the course of the case.
At the request of the prosecutor, the court has taken preventive measures against her. The woman has been placed under police supervision, which means she has to stand twice a week at the Orish Police Station. Additionally, the district clerk issued an order to leave the shared apartment immediately. She also received a restraining order against the injured husband to ensure his safety during the proceedings.
Threat of severe punishment: Up to 5 years behind bars
A 35-year-old child is sentenced to imprisonment of up to five years for child abuse. This is the maximum penalty provided for in the Criminal Code for this type of crime (Article 207(1) KK). The case is pending, and the D.A. underlines that such incidents will not be tolerated. It is worth reminding that domestic violence affects not only women, but increasingly men – according to the statistics of the Ministry of Justice, thousands of similar cases are reported annually, although many remain hidden.
This incident with Orises is another example of how alcohol can escalate family conflicts to the level of crime. Police call: if you are a witness or victim of violence, do not hesitate to report – emergency number 112 works 24/7.
