In the heart of the freezing winter, when temperatures drop below zero and animal shelters struggle with a wave of cold, Dorota Rabczewska, known as Doda, is not standing on the sidelines. The star of Polish show business is actively supporting stray dogs by providing them with essential clothing and promoting adoptions. Her efforts inspire thousands of fans to follow suit.
Doda has been involved in animal protection for years, but in winter her activity takes on особого значения. Recently, the singer visited a shelter, where she personally helped dress dogs in warm jackets to protect them from the frost. As SE.pl reports, the star did not wait for an appeal \u2013 she bought dozens of jackets in various sizes herself and, together with volunteers, dressed the four-legged animals who were suffering from the low temperatures. „The frost has really given us a hard time,” she said, stressing that without such help many dogs might not survive the winter.
On her Instagram and TikTok profiles, Doda regularly appeals for adoptions, sharing the stories of individual dogs. In one of her posts, she encourages people to adopt the „Celestyniaki” dogs, that is, the animals in the care of the shelter in Celestynów.
Experts confirm the effectiveness of such campaigns. Veterinarians stress that winter is a time of heightened risk of hypothermia and frostbite for stray animals. Thanks to initiatives by Doda, such as fundraisers for insulating kennels or warm food, shelters are receiving real support.
