HBO Max just posted on the network a second official trailer for the third season of the iconic series Euphoria. Trailer entitled ‘Euphoria Season 3 | Trailer 2" appeared on Monday, March 30, 2026 on the HBO Max channel on YouTube and within a dozen hours had already won several million views. Fans of the series do not hide emotions – after more than four years of waiting we get an announcement that announces even darker, more mature and uncompromising continuations of the heroes' fates.
"Did we finally go too far?" - this question begins with new material. The Rue Bennett performed by Zendaya again narratives about the elections that lead to the edge. This time history moves us a few years after graduating from high school. Heroes are no longer teenagers from East Highland High – they enter adulthood, but their demons do not let go. The trailer is full of intense cinema shots: mariachi plays in the background, Rue swallows suspicious packages in Mexico, and a DEA agent asks questions about drugs and smuggling. There are also well-known faces: Maddy (Alexa Demie), Cassie (Sydney Sweeney), Nate (Jacob Elordi), Jules (Hunter Schafer), as well as Ali and Laurie.
Spectators see, among others, scenes of Cassie and Nate's marriage, joint cam-girl recordings of Cassie and Maddy, explosions of violence, broken glass, screams and emotional conversations of Rue and her mother. There are also philosophical moments – Ali speaks of empathy, evil and the border between good and evil, and the whole end with a strong accent: "We all answer to God." The creators of the series turned the temperature up – this time they are not only betting on love dramas and addictions, but also on higher stakes, secrets and moral dilemmas.
Serial Euphoria From the very beginning, it has conquered the hearts of viewers with a bold look at the problems of youth and young adults. The creator Sam Levinson once again is not afraid of controversy. Of course, Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Maude Apatow, Alexa Demie and the rest of the crew return in the cast. The third season is expected to be even more film and mature – after the time since the second season, the creators had space to develop stories in a completely new direction.
In the third season of Euphoria, Eric Dane appears last on the screen in the role of Cal Jacobs, Nate’s father. The actor died on February 19, 2026 at the age of 53 after fighting the ALS, but was able to film all his scenes still in 2025, despite deteriorating health. His return in the new trailer – including a touching encounter with Jules during Nate and Cassie's wedding – takes on an extremely emotional dimension. For many fans, it is not only a continuation of history, but also a tribute to an actor who remained faithful to his passion to the end and to the series that helped him find meaning in the most difficult period of his life.
Release Euphoria Season 3 is scheduled for April 12, 2026 exclusively on HBO Max. The first trailer appeared in January and caused a huge stir – the second trailer only boosts expectations. Fans on Reddit and in social media speculate about the timing of the jump, new relationships and how the characters "went too far".
