Xbox Game Pass finally cheaper. Microsoft bent under player pressure, but removed Call of Duty for premiere

Microsoft oficjalnie ogłosił nową strukturę i ceny subskrypcjiXbox Game Pass. W odpowiedzi na falę krytyki i nacisk ze strony społeczności ceny zostały obniżone, ale zmiana ma swoją cenę – seria Call of Duty nie będzie już trafiała na serwery Game Pass w dniu premiery.

The new offer is divided into three plans:

Essential– 36.99 PLN/mies. Over 50 games on Xbox, PC and supported devices, streaming selected titles, multiplayer on consoles, and benefits for League of Legends and Call of Duty: Warzone.

Premium– 54.99 PLN/mies. Over 200 games, new Xbox productions within 12 months of launch, shorter waiting times for streaming and all benefits of the Essential Plan.

Ultimate– 84.99 PLN/month. (LOW PRICE) Over 400 games on Xbox, Windows PC and mobile devices, new games on launch day (excluding Call of Duty series), third-party titles, EA Play, Ubisoft+ Classics, streaming in the highest quality and all other benefits.

The change came into force immediately. Microsoft emphasizes that lower prices are meant to encourage more players to join the service, but the decision to exclude Call of Duty from premiere access to Game Pass Ultimate has sparked mixed reactions. Many fans of the series consider it a major blow, especially after Activision Blizzard joined the Microsoft family.

The decision on social media was announced by the Xbox CEO at Microsoft Asha Sharma.

The new structure is intended to be more flexible and tailored to different players' needs – from occasional to those who want everything right away. Subscriptions are continued automatically and full terms are available on the Xbox website.

Is the price reduction worth losing Call of Duty to premiere? The community is already lively in forums and social media.
