Poland advanced to the quarter-finals of the World volleyball championship, winning with Canada 3:1 (25-18; 23-25; 25-20; 25-14). The match was held on 20 September in the Philippines. After one victory in the first set, Poles gave the second game to rivals, but quickly returned to a good game, dominant in the third and fourth installments of the match. The best players were Wilfredo Leon and Kamil Semeniak. In the quarter final on 24 September Poland will face Turkey, which defeated Holland.
