Axis 4 mission – Pole aboard ISS
The Axis 4 mission is the fourth commercial manned expedition carried out by Axis Space. Sławomi Uznański-Wiśniewski flew to ISS with astronauts from India, Hungary and the USA. Polish participation is a result of cooperation between the Ministry of Development and Technology and the European Space Agency – within the framework of the Polish IGNIS Technology and Science Mission.
Experiments and Education in Space
During his stay at ISS Polak realizes as many as 13 experiments designed by Polish companies and research institutions. These include testing new technologies, noise testing at work, and the impact of radiation on astronaut protection.In addition, he conducts 30 educational and popular science shows and connects with Polish shortwaves.
