Police officers from the Police Railway Station in Warsaw detained 35-year-old Natalia S., a Ukrainian citizen, suspected of arson of the hair of a young woman in the office hall of the Warsaw Central Railway Station. A dramatic event occurred on January 17, 2026. The unsub set the victim's hair on fire and immediately fled the scene.
The detention took place at Sobieski Street in Warsaw after more than two months of intensive work of the officers. Thanks to persistent investigative efforts, they managed to identify and track down a 35-year-old.
The woman heard allegations of exposure of another person to the immediate danger of loss of life or severe injury to health and of directing the threat of deprivation. In the light of the evidence gathered, the District Court for Warsaw-Śródmieście on Wednesday 1 April 2026 decided to temporarily arrest Natalia S. for a period of three months.
For her actions, she is facing imprisonment for up to three years. The case is developmental, and police officers don't rule out further findings.
