From Saturday 7 to Monday 9 November, Pb95 petrol at petrol stations will cost at most PLN 6.12 per litre, Pb98 petrol PLN 6.80, and diesel PLN 7.83. The caps are lower than on Friday.
New caps for the weekend and Monday
The Energy Minister’s notice of 6 November on the maximum price of liquid fuels at a fuel station applies for three days: Saturday 7, Sunday 8 and Monday 9 November. Gross prices, including 8% VAT, are:
- Pb95 petrol – PLN 6.12 per litre (net price PLN 5.67 per dm³),
- Pb98 petrol – PLN 6.80 per litre,
- diesel – PLN 7.83 per litre.
The Ministry of Energy announced on X that the prices apply from Saturday through Monday inclusive.
How much cheaper than on Friday
On Friday 6 November the caps were PLN 6.20 per litre for Pb95 petrol, PLN 6.93 for Pb98 and PLN 7.91 for diesel. From Saturday, Pb95 petrol is therefore 8 groszy cheaper, Pb98 13 groszy cheaper, and diesel 8 groszy cheaper.
Compared with the start of the month, the differences are small. On Monday 2 November the caps were PLN 6.45 for Pb95 petrol, PLN 7.31 for Pb98 and PLN 8.14 for diesel. How the mechanism works
Maximum prices are part of the Lower Fuel Prices (CPN) programme, which also includes temporarily reduced VAT and excise duty on fuels. The maximum price applies at all stations across the country. The Energy Minister announces it in notices published in the Monitor Polski official gazette. The programme is due to run until the end of 2026.
The next notice, with caps for Tuesday 10 November, is due to be published on Monday 9 November.
