Waldemar Krysiak, a blogger and commentator known online as Myślozbir, died overnight from Saturday to Sunday. The news was announced by his friend, Roman Warszawski. The cause of death was reportedly a heart attack. He was 36 years old.
Roman Warszawski wrote on X in the morning: “With great sadness I am informing you that my closest friend Waldemar Krysiak – Myślozbir – died overnight”. He added that for thousands of people Waldek was a voice known from the internet, and for him one of the people closest to him. When asked what had happened, he replied briefly: “Heart attack”.
No details of the funeral have been released so far. Warszawski said the family and relatives would announce when they are able to.
Who he was
Krysiak ran the account @myslozbir (approx. 63 thousand followers) and the YouTube channel Myślozbrodnia. In his profile description he described himself as a blogger, journalist, columnist and linguist. He published, among others, in “Tygodnik Solidarność” and on Niezalezna.pl. He himself said of himself “a traitor to the rainbow” – a gay man who sharply criticised the queer and gender movement, while at the same time defending gay people outside that current. Slogans from his profile: #GayNotQueer and #IstandWithRowling.

He lived between Poland and Berlin. As late as Saturday, 3 October, he was still active on X – commenting on current politics and sharing posts. Hence the first reactions: many did not want to believe it, because “he was still writing yesterday”.
Reactions
Condolences quickly appeared under Warszawski’s post. Adam Czarnecki wrote: “Jesus Mary… Very sad news, really”. Others recalled that Krysiak could be disliked, but it was hard to deny that in many matters he made a lot of noise – and that he died too soon.
Apart from the statement from the friend, there is so far no official announcement from the family. The funeral is to be announced at a later date.
Funeral update
The funeral ceremonies will take place on Thursday at 12:00 at the St. Maciej Church in Bełchów. Waldemar will be buried in the nearby cemetery, next to his father.
