From 1 February Zero TV in position zero in the pilot, in front of all channels

Yesterday, during a special event "Zero Channel Meetup" organized at ZEN.COM Expo pod Rzeszow, founder of Channel Zero, Krzysztof Stanowski, surprised the audience with the announcement of ambitious plans for the coming year. The main point of the program was to reveal the start of Zero TV and the zero.pl news portal, which are due to start on February 1, 2026. Event, broadcast live YouTube, attracted hundreds of viewers on site and tens of thousands online, highlighting the increasing popularity of the channel.

Ambitious Development Plans for Channel Zero

Krzysztof Stanowski, a well-known sports journalist and CEO of Channel Zero, began his speech by summarizing the achievements of Channel Zero in 2025. The channel, which started in 2024, achieved impressive results: nearly a billion views (with a record of 175 million in May), revenues of PLN 40.5 million (an increase of 49% compared to the previous year) and EBITDA of PLN 9.2 million. Stanowski stressed that these successes were due to Polish capital and growing number of sponsors – from 2 to 28 companies, mainly Polish entrepreneurs supporting changes in the media market.

Further growth is planned for 2026: the income target is at least PLN 100 million and EBITDA is over 25 million. The team is expected to grow to 200 people, including several dozen new journalists, including investigators.

Zero TV — TV under 0

The biggest surprise was the announcement of Zero TV, a new television station available 24 hours a day. The channel is to be available under 0 on television pilots, what Stanowski negotiated with a large television market partner (undisclosed name, probably Canal+). As he explained:

"I do not want to be in 167 positions, and secondly we are called Zero and I want to be in front of TVP1, TVP2, Polsat. I want to go first. Besides, you have a free button on your remote" – Stanowski convinced partner.

However, he added that Zero Channel does not intend to immediately conquer the television market:

"We as an organization are not strong enough infrastructure, management, editorially to conquer the television market. We can mess with him, but this is not a challenge that bothers us first."

Zero TV will focus on socio-political content, live programs, entertainment, news, travel and motorization. Stanowski stressed that this was not a revolution yet. First in the first year of action – does not plan to dominate the television market. The channel is to be available in most homes from 1 February, using the free "0" button on the pilots.

portal zero.pl – new quality in online journalism

At the same time, the portal zero.pl, an ambitious information service with an emphasis on mobility and quality of content will start. The editor-in-chief will be Patrick Słowik, recognized as one of the best journalists in Poland. The portal will avoid tabloid themes, focusing on reliable journalism. Stanowski announced synergies with YouTube: content from the channel will be quoted on the portal and the team will strengthen top authors (many names not yet disclosed for contractual reasons). Aim? Become a leading portal in Poland, supporting Polish journalists and entrepreneurs.

This is possible only on operator decoders, DVB-T(2) and DVB-C digital tv standards do not predict the use of LCN equal to 0.
