The controversial "Queen of Survival" program officially went to the desk of the National Broadcasting Council. The report was received by the regulator after a wave of criticism that swept through social media after recent episodes.
According to reports, Internet users and viewers complain mainly about:
- vulgar language of participants,
- promoting toxic behaviour,
- public disclosure of intimate details of private life (including the erotic past of one of the participants),
- sex scenes and controversial confessions.
The most excitement was the speech of 19-year-old Sofia – the girl Wojtek Gola, who openly admitted to recording adult content in the program.
The KRRiT confirmed that the proposal was adopted and will be examined for violations of the Broadcasting Act, in particular the provisions on the protection of human dignity and the prohibition of promoting illegal and moral behaviour.
The program manufacturer has not so far referred to the notification. The station that broadcasts "Queen of Survival" is also silent in this matter.
This is another such intervention against the reality-show recently. If the KRRiT considers the allegations to be justified, even a high financial penalty or an order to amend the programme may be threatened.
The case is developing – for now we are waiting for the official position of the National Council.
