In an exclusive interview with Kanał Zero, Senior Sergeant Kinga Bogacz and her lawyer Paweł Wilkutowski explained how far reality differs from the media sensation. The central figure of the affair states directly: „This alleged football hooligan is my partner, with whom I live. I was living there at that time, I was living there”. It turns out that her partner is not a figure from the criminal underworld. He last attended a match a few years ago, has never been convicted, and for the media’s purposes obtained a current certificate of no criminal record.

The Media Exaggerated the Whole Story

Many journalists and portals manipulated the topic by linking Kinga Bogacz’s private life with her official duties. The police officer explains: „I am currently separated. For over a year and a half I have not lived with my husband; I was building my life with my current partner”. She assures that the events of the well-known police operation took place a year ago, and that official charges and suspension from duty came only in June 2025.

Exceeding Authority and the Investigation

The most serious charge against Kinga Bogacz concerns alleged unlawful checking of data in police systems. The police officer comments: „I did not admit to this act, I did not give explanations. I cannot say anything more on this subject”. She stresses that she cannot discuss the details of the investigation, but declares her willingness to defend herself and fight to prove her innocence. Her lawyer adds that no proceedings are currently under way against Ms Kinga’s partner and that, formally, he remains a person not listed in the criminal register.

A Wave of Hate and Support from Loved Ones

Kinga Bogacz said that after numerous articles and comments were published online, she was swept by a wave of hate that reached the proportions of a „tsunami of hatred”. „Often, when I went out into the street, I felt everyone was looking at me, I received all sorts of messages… They wrote insults, some suggested various things in those messages” says the police officer, stressing how badly her family and loved ones were affected. She receives the greatest support from her partner, daughter, friends and lawyer, who is with her „24 hours a day”. Attorney Wilkutowski adds: „I cannot imagine anyone in such a situation. It should not look like this, that one unconfirmed piece of information has so destroyed a person’s life”.

Plans for the Future and Thanks

Because of the suspension, Kinga Bogacz could not return to work in the police. She has now started studies and plans to switch to a calmer field – „Life is not limited to being a police officer… You can try in other fields”. The police officer expresses enormous gratitude to Kanał Zero for the opportunity to present her point of view and notes: „Only you gave me such an opportunity and I thank you with all my heart. I hope we will meet again”.
