Christmas night without Kevin? Not in Poland! Polsat since the quarter of a century shows the Christmas comedy "Kevin alone at home" and in 2025 will also not miss this iconic film.
Kevin alone at home – Christmas classics of Polsat
"Kevin alone at home" has been part of the Polish Christmas tradition for 25 years. American production from 1990 directed by Chris Columbus gained the sympathy of Polish viewers and became an indispensable element of Christmas Eve evening. It was Polsat who made the film permanent in Polish homes, issuing it annually since 2000.
Before that, emissions rights had other stations such as TVP1 and TVN, but it is Polsat who associates with Kevin most. The attachment of viewers to the tradition is so great that in 2010, when the station wanted to withdraw the film, it sparked a mass protest on the Internet. After the wave of opposition, Polsat changed his decision and Kevin has not disappeared from the frame since.
