Denis from Krakow showed that even ordinary waste can turn into real help. For two months, he collected 4683 plastic bottles and cans and obtained over PLN 2300 from bail.
The Krakowian who made waste help
A resident of Krakow worked at a nightclub and it was there that he noticed the scale of daily waste that usually goes to the basket without much reflection. Instead of throwing them away, he put them in bags for two months and prepared to return in a bottle.
It was the consequence that made the biggest difference here, in total it collected about 30 bags.
Record number of packages
The result of 4683 packages impresses not only by the number itself, but also by the rate of collection. Denis collected plastic bottles and cans in just two months, showing how much raw materials can be recovered even in one workplace.
Denis emphasizes that his fundraiser was not just a way to get the money back from the packages. The most important was for him. Charity Purpose – he wanted each bottle donated and every can to be of real value to others. As a result, ordinary waste has become concrete aid that will go where it is really needed.
