Shortly after opening, Hossoland – an amusement park meant to rival Energylandia – is suspending operations. Frequent breakdowns and customer dissatisfaction have led to the park closing as early as September 1.
Hossoland – a new star of the north?
A new amusement park, Hossoland, has recently opened in northern Poland. The park currently offers a wide range of attractions for the whole family, including four roller coasters – three from Vekoma and one from Preston and Barbieri.
Hossoland opened on June 27, 2025 in Brojce near Gryfice as the largest tourism investment in West Pomerania. The park was to offer four themed zones across 40 hectares – for comparison, Energylandia covers 70 hectares. Expectations were high – the park was promoted as the “new attraction of the season” and a “strong competitor to Energylandia”.
A start full of problems
The opening itself was already unlucky: the opening date was repeatedly postponed due to unfinished construction work and testing. A few weeks later, further technical difficulties emerged – half of the attractions did not work, which caused frustration among visitors.

"Temporary closure" – what happened?
On August 29, Hossoland’s management announced that the main reason for the decision to suspend operations was necessary modernization and corrective works. The park will end the season on August 31, without even giving a date for reopening – although unofficially it is said to be spring 2026. Guests can file complaints, get a refund, or exchange their tickets for vouchers.
