A high-profile fire in Koryciny has destroyed warehouses and stock belonging to the well-known company Dary Natury. Firefighters battled the blaze for many hours, and the causes of the tragedy are still being determined. The owner is appealing for support through purchases.
A Night of Terror in Podlasie
On the night of October 24-25, the local community of Koryciny in Podlasie was shaken by news of a major fire engulfing the buildings of the company Dary Natury – a producer of organic herbs, teas and spices. Fifteen fire brigade units were deployed and fought the blaze for many hours. Not only the warehouses were under threat, but also the residential section and a car parked nearby.
Scale of Damage and the Company’s Response
The fire literally consumed the entire warehouse, the production equipment and the stored stock, mainly teas, spices and herbal raw materials. The losses turned out to be enormous, but – as company owner Mirosław Angielczyk stresses – no employees were injured and none will lose their job. In a published statement, the company also assures that it is still fulfilling orders, although temporary delays may occur.
