The launch video of 1X Technologies’ Neo robot topped 20 million views on X in under a day after it was posted. This confirms growing interest in advanced home robots that can significantly ease everyday chores.
Neo – a revolution in household chores
Neo is a humanoid robot equipped with Redwood AI, 1X’s AI model that allows it to learn and perform a wide range of household tasks. Its capabilities keep growing as it learns and as new software becomes available, so its functions will continue to be developed after purchase.

What the robot cannot do
Neo is not designed for highly complex manual work or activities outside the home, as its systems are optimized for operation in enclosed spaces with controlled conditions.
Supervised Expert mode
For more complex tasks, the robot offers a supervised Expert mode. The user can schedule remote sessions during which an expert from 1X controls the robot, helping it carry out new or difficult tasks, so that the robot learns new skills.
Control and communication
Neo is equipped with:
- A natural voice interface for giving commands without the use of devices
- The NEO mobile app for managing the work schedule, remote communication and monitoring
- Remote piloting via VR devices, allowing the robot to be controlled from anywhere in the world
Autonomous charging and signaling
The robot takes care of charging its battery on its own – it connects to a charging station by itself when necessary. The robot’s status and needs are communicated through special Emotive Ear Rings – „ears” that indicate, among other things, the battery level or readiness to work.

Neo is available in two options:

- Subscription model – a monthly fee of 500 USD covering updates, service and technical support
Delivery and international orders
The company plans to fulfill orders also for customers outside the USA, with shipments scheduled to start in 2026.
