On the night of 4th to 5th July, a dramatic event occurred in the Górniak settlement in Łódź. A 30-year-old woman suffered a violent sexual attack. Despite rapid medical attention, she died in hospital. A 63-year-old boy who heard the charges was detained. The case shook the local community.
What exactly happened at the Górniak estate?
Police and D.A. They confirm the attack occurred at night. The woman suffered severe injuries to the body and went to the hospital, where despite the efforts of doctors she died. She left a seven-year-old daughter behind.
A 63-year-old man quickly fell into the hands of officers. By decision of the court he was temporarily arrested for three months. At this stage of his investigation, he is facing up to eight years imprisonment.
The prosecution's allegations and further actions
The man heard the charge from Article 198 of the Penal Code – the use of a state of helplessness to lead to sexual activity. Prosecutor Paweł Jasiak from the District Attorney's Office in Łódź confirmed this information.
Public Prosecutor’s Office examines the key thread now:

- If the expert confirms a causal link, the charges may be exacerbated to murder in the intention of possibly.
Such a change in legal qualifications would significantly increase the potential penalty.
