December 2025 at Epic Games Store announces a real game for PC players. Epic Games platform began the Christmas release of free games, and according to a leak from Chinese social media, we deal with daily gifts until the end of the year. The list includes as many as 15 titles with a total value of nearly $300, including real hits like Red Dead Redemption 2. The first game is already confirmed Hogwarts Legacy (Hogwart Heritage), available for free until 18 December.
Why the leak?
Information about the list appeared on the Chinese QQ platform and quickly spread through Reddit, Notebookcheck and other gaming services. Epic Games did not confirm details, but the fact that Hogwarts Legacy – one of the best-selling games of 2023 – is free since 11 December, adds credibility to the rumor. Subsequent titles are to be added daily from 18 December. Some games from the list (e.g. Red Dead Redemption 2) are not yet available in the EGS, which may mean that Rockstar will add them specifically for this occasion.
