"English lessons" announcements flood portals, but not all of them look as expected. Is tutoring just science, or is it something else that attracts attention?
English language lessons that inspire emotions
In recent months many offers have appeared on popular advertising platforms, which theoretically concern English language tutoring. However, the style in which they are presented – strongly emphasizing the appearance and stylization of those conducting classes – concerns and wonders the Internet users. It is not difficult to notice that the choice of photographs and the way of description attracts eyesight more than the content of the offer itself.
The Internet comments: what is really going on here?
Under the tweet of Dragon Wawelski, asking for recommendations for the " tutor", an avalanche of comments appeared. Users with a dull eye suggest that "until fear call and ask about the cost of a full semester", and others here find the phenomenon of intentional "fake" tutoring to gain publicity or... clients for other services.
Typical online reactions:
- "This year's weirder"
- "The variation of the fuck in every possible way"
Such answers clearly show that many commentators see the second bottom of these announcements and see more than just an offer of language learning.
Marketing tricks or a suggestive message?
The offers are distinguished by stylized, courageous pictures and a minimalist description – "effective", "from the tongue", "in English language tutoring". The prices oscillate around PLN 40-50 per hour, which is not a stake which is strongly above average, but the presentation form effectively distracts attention from the substance itself.
Some offers may be real lessons, but the form of promotion clearly deviates from the standards of the educational industry – and as you can see, it is in 2025, at least in social media.
It is easy to find tutoring announcements on the web today, which instead of substantive information and experience put on a suggestive image. Both students and parents need to be much more aware today of what they really choose – the modern educational market is increasingly connected with unobvious marketing and online humour, which not everyone has to respond to.
