After a multi-month media battle, the court finally placed a dot over i. Wednesday May 6, 2026 Sąd Rejonowy w Łodzi wydał wyrok w głośnej sprawie alimentów, które Krzysztof Rutkowski ma płacić na swojego 17-letniego nieślubnego syna Aleksandra.
Judge Robert Adamczyk decided to increase in alimony from PLN 2 000 to PLN 3 000 per month. The boy's mother, Natasha Zych, demanded that PLN 30 thousand per month, however, the court found this amount completely disproportionate to the real needs of the child.
In the statement of reasons for the judgment, the judge clearly indicated the estate situation of the detective: Krzysztof Rutkowski has a low pension and his savings to date are only PLN 6 thousand.
Rutkowski himself commented on the judgment as being "fair", stressing that the court took into account the actual financial possibilities and the standard of living of the child.
The dispute over alimony continued for a long time and was full of emotion – both sides spared bitter words both in the courtroom and in the media. Alexander’s mother repeatedly emphasized that her father has a completely different way of life than her son’s.
Now, after the verdict, the maintenance case of Krzysztof Rutkowski finally has a final. The detective will pay $3,000 a month for his son.
