Journalist Krzysztof Stanowski published a surprising story on social media this morning – during an unusual car chase he saved a dog who escaped its owner. The whole action happened in front of passersby and quickly became a viral on the Polish Internet.
Morning traffic on the street
At 8:50 a.m., Warsaw woke up with an unusual event. Krzysztof Stanowski watched a little dog run away trying to capture him. The animal fell into the bush, and the journalist felt that it was the end of his adventure – until a few minutes later, the dog ran right in front of the hood of his car, dragging a muddy leash behind him.
A movie chase
Stanowski followed a four-legged man, leading his SUV down the street, where the dog ran in the middle and was not allowed to pass. The whole action resembled scenes from a Hollywood thriller: chasing, confusing leads and animals still on the move. At one point, the journalist decided to drive on the lawn to overtake the dog – impressive, but it was a pity for urban green. Then he set the car across the road, trying to block the dog's route. He eventually applied "hycla technology", trampling a leash with momentum.
Action Details
The race lasted several hundred metres
Participated in an SUV known for its use by special agents
The dog was scared, but still extremely energetic
Final stop: leash trampled, dog caught unharmed
Happy end – dog returns to owner
After a successful pursuit, Stanowski packed the dog in his car and returned to a place where the concerned owner waited. A clear relief was painted on her face – the dog came back intact and the action ended happily. The journalist himself stressed that it was a winning day and with humor he added that the initial "sudden death" of the pet was a joke from the narrative when the leash suddenly tightened.
I was in pursuit today, and it's a good one! Some family got run away by a dog. So little, alive, he went ahead. I watched it from the car, I saw that they were trying to get him, some lady running in her shoes, he ran into the bushes. Well, I thought that this great escape was over in the bushes, because I never saw him running from behind them again, except for once in our lives, running hard in the bush and the last thing we wanted was to be covered. And I forgot about the case until... a few minutes later, that little dog dragging a muddy leash behind him ran in front of me in front of a mask, a long way away. So I went after him. It was a movie chase. I'm a great SUV, a brand used by Her Majesty's special agents of services, chasing a little dog who's just doing his life story. I can't get past him because he's running in the middle of a narrow alley. The eyes of this dog must have been a real thriller, in which someone is still chasing him, he still manages to confuse the chase, but he's getting into more and more trouble. And now the undercover is sitting on his tail, literally and figuratively. At one point an option appeared to drive several meters on the lawn and thus gain an advantage, which I also did like a special agent (besides, movie pursuits always combine with some damage, so this time it fell on urban green). Then I covered the alley by standing across, which, of course, was just an empty gesture, because the dog was so small that he could run under the car and probably even do it if it wasn't for my technique like the best hycla.
