Polish volleyball players did not advance to the League of Nations final. After the emotional but one-sided semifinals in Łódź, our representation had to acknowledge the superiority of the undefeated Italians, losing 0:3. On Sunday they will play for the bronze medal with the loss of the second semi-final.

The Italians quickly leveled and took control, showing why they had not lost the match in over a year. Sets ended clearly in favor of rivals (18:25, 16:25, 14:25).

After the match, coach Stefano Lavarini did not avoid responsibility: If you want to criticize someone, blame it on me. I don't care, it's all my fault. But tomorrow we play to win – he emphasized, motivating the team and taking the burden of defeat on himself.

"It's hard to compete when Italians are playing at the same level as today," concluded Lavarini, cutting the pressure from his players and indicating that not so much matters the result as the strength of character and the ability to draw conclusions from difficult moments.
